The joysticks are still working great. I just recently purchased an
I-PAC so I could hook the joysticks up to a computer
more easily. The I-PAC is a keyboard encoder. I would say this is the way to go for hooking
up digital joysticks and controls to the computer. To connect the joysticks, I also
purchased two 15 pin connectors to mate with the joystick cables. Then I just wired up
the connectors to the I-PAC and plugged everything in. Sorry, no pictures as my camera
literally bit the dust a couple of years ago. The I-PAC has been working fairly well, except
for occasional "ghost" key presses. The I-PAC is available for PS2 or USB connections and
comes with Windows software but I am using it under GNU/Linux. The OS just sees it as a
keyboard (and it has a keyboard pass-thru).
